My name is Julia Martin, and I live in SoCal at the moment. I graduated back in 2008 with a BA in Industrial Design and recently obtained two certificates of achievement: Digital Design Foundations and Gallery Management. I decided to restart my career in the arts after having an epiphany while working in childcare. It's good to be back!
I am a chronic scribble-scrabbler, cartoon lover, instant photographer, toy enthusiast, and nature admirer. I believe in having hobbies, as they foster one’s imagination and, most of the time, provide valuable sources of inspiration.
My favorite medium is alcohol markers. Highly blendable, equally portable, and fast results are the reasons I love them (buy them like there’s no tomorrow). I also enjoy gouache, paper collage, and acrylic paint markers.
My work is 50% digital and 50% analog pieces. I am versatile, a Ms. Fixit, an imaginative creator who is willing to take on challenges.
