My name is Julia Martin, and I live in SoCal at the moment. I have a degree in Industrial Design, and I am currently working on achieving two certificates: Digital Design Foundations and Gallery Management at EL Camino College in Torrance. I decided I wanted to restart my career in the arts after having an epiphany while working in childcare.
I am a chronic scribble-scrabbler, cartoon lover, instant photographer, toy enthusiast, and nature admirer. I believe in having hobbies, as they foster one’s imagination and, most of the time, provide valuable sources of inspiration.
My favorite medium is alcohol markers. Highly blendable, equally portable, and fast results are the reasons I love them (buy them like there’s no tomorrow). I also enjoy gouache and paper collage.
My work is 50% digital and 50% analog pieces. I am versatile, a Ms. Fixit, imaginative creator who is willing to take on challenges.
